Profile

Currently a second-year Computer Science student at Sheffield Hallam University, seeking a 12-month placement starting summer 2027. Experienced in Python, C#, C++ and SQL through university and personal projects. My interest began when I started a one-week voluntary work experience placement with Viewclarity, based in Doncaster. There I learnt Python and the basics of networking. Since then, in my free time, I have enjoyed building projects and learning various programming languages. Outside of tech, I developed strong communication and leadership skills from running a youth club over the summer holidays, managing social media platforms and performing admin-related tasks at the Eden Centre Doncaster, and from tutoring online.

Project documentation

Built a flashcard revision webapp for students as a university project. The front end UI went well because I had planned it out and enjoyed coming up with the aesthetic. The server-side database setup didn't go as planned, as I had never done it before and needed my professor to walk me through it. I then repeated the setup by myself and got it working.
Designed the UI using Figma and wrote the code in VS Code. Everything was documented on GitHub.
Achieved 70/100 marks for submission at university
